Master class delivered by Dr. Manel Esteller at the graduation ceremony of the 15th promotion of the Executive Master in Public Administration (EMPA).

The graduation ceremony of the 15th promotion of the Executive Master in Public Administration (EMPA) was held on 20 September 2018 at ESADEFORUM.   

This event included a master class given by Dr. Manel Esteller, director of the Cancer Epigenetics and Biology Programme of the Bellvitge Institute for Biomedical Research and leader of the Cancer Epigenetics Group. He is also professor of Genetics in the School of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, and research professor at the Catalan Institution for Research and Advanced Studies (ICREA). Among other accolades, he has received the National Oncology Award (2014) and the Award for Innovation in the Healthcare Field in Oncology (2018). Dr. Esteller reflected on “Biomedical research as an economic, health and professional development driver”.

The event was chaired by Tamyko Ysa, Vice-Dean of Research at ESADE and associate professor at ESADEgov, and Manuel Férez, director of the Executive Master in Public Administration (EMPA).
